Day 6

Today was our second working day. We had to get to Gamboa with the bus, since Anna had some important phonecalls to make. Unfortunately, we missed our bus, and since it only drives every two hours, we had a problem. Luckily, Anna was just done with her phonecall, so she could drive us to Gamboa.
The first thing we had to do was also the least fun thing I had ever done in my life: we had to replace the flight tape (you know, the sticky tape some people hang from their ceiling to catch flies with). The thing was, that it was wrapped around the feet of tables and cupbourds. We first had to peel the insect tape off (which was really sticky, obviously, and full with dead insects), and then we had to put new tape around it. After two hours we were done (half an hour of it was washing sticky stuff and dead insects off of our hands, since doing it with gloves was basically impossible).
After that we had lunch break, followed by us doing the same thing as yesterday: cleaning the frog tanks and feeding the tadpoles, and Brendan had to feed the ill frogs by putting some crickets in their tanks.
When everything was done, it was 14.45, so we went back home with the bus.
While we were walking back home, Anna drove past us, so we got in her car, saving us a ten minute walk. We went with her to Joost, but sadly Evert and Nicholas had to study for their exams, so instead Brendan and I decided to go pooling. The end result was 5-3 in my favour (woo). We also talked with Joost, who learned us a lot about Panama (like the more than 50 different species of birds he had spotted in his back garden, including tucans, eagles, and other interesting birds). While he was showing us pictures of the birds, I noticed a popup saying his Eredivisie app was done updating, so I asked him what his favorite team was, and it turned out that he had played in the A1 of Ajax, and had played with famous football players like Frank Rijkaard, who was still a good friend of his.
When it was 19.30, we went home, taking Evert and Nick's Xbox with us (we were allowed to take it to Anna's house, because it'd only be a distraction for them while they were studying) and ate hamburgers and fries.
Afterwards, we played some games on the Xbox (360), and went to bed.
