26 April 2015 | Panama, Panama-stad
Today we decided to explore Panama City with a hop-on hop-off bus (you know, the red ones you see in cities all over the world). The first thing we did was walking the causeway, which is a road connecting three islands off the coast of the city. We had a nice view (on the right side, that is, since they were doing maintenance on the left part. Anyhow, after a one hour walk, we got onto the bus again, and continued our tour. We saw lots of interesting stuff, like the old colonial city and the modern city (which really felt like a western city with all its skyscrapers), and learned a lot about Panama City and its history. Our last stop was Albrook Mall, which is the biggest mall in all of Latin America (10,000 people work there, and every weekend it gets visited by at least 150,000 people). After our little tour, we watched some movies, and went to bed.
