Day 13

Today was the last day at the Smithsonian. Apart from the usual stuff, we had to prepare some bottoms for the new frog tanks (quite a few frogs were caught at the latest field trip). Unfortunately, there weren't enough zip ties, so Rigo had to drive all the way to Gamboa on his day off.
Anyhow, when we were done, we thanked Rigo and the rest and said goodbye (we forgot to hand in our id card, so that's a nice souvenir), and went back to our house. In Panama City, was raining quite hard (less than in Gamboa, but still), and since almost everyone had a day off because of Labour Day, the bus was way to full. We were in the back of the bus, and because it was so hard to manouver our way forward, we got off the bus one stop too late. We couldn't reach Anna, so we called Joost to ask if she was there (she always visits Joost on fridays). She wasn't, but Joost offered to pick us up, so luckily we didn't get wet.
In the evening, we went to a new Italian restaurant with Joost, Evert and Nick (it tasted really good), and that was basically it for the day.
