Joost, being nice as always, offered to give us a tour through the city, so
he picked us up at 8.45 am. We first drove to Casco Viejo (we had already been there, but we just followed a route and didn't really pay attention to all the historic stuff), and after telling us a little anecdote about a Texas ranger who hung all the bandits in the area. He then told us the story about how the canal was built. Joost also told us about many buildings in the neighbourhood, and about how they're renovating all the old cheap appartments.
Afterwards, we drove to Ancon Hill (a hill in the middle of Panama City), which had the residences of all the canal officers on it. It also gave us a really nice view over the city.
When we were done taking pictures, we drove to Albrook mall to get ourselves lunch.
After that, we played some video games and watched some series, and tonight we'll go to bed early since tomorrow we'll have to get up at 4.30.
